Statement on Department of Energy’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking

Southern Company will continue to engage in the process of the DOE NOPR currently before FERC and is committed to supporting generation resources that provide fuel security and reliability to maintain a reliable, resilient electric grid. We applaud the efforts of Secretary Perry and DOE on this important issue.
