Southern Company releases its annual responsibility reports
At Southern Company, we are bigger than our bottom line. As we work to provide clean, safe, reliable and affordable energy to our customers and communities, we are also working to reduce the environmental impact of our operations, help customers use energy more wisely and promote diverse fuel options. Our commitment to sustainability is a big mission, and an important one.
Together, the Southern Company system has made great strides to see this mission through. Last year, we reduced the environmental impact of our operations, volunteered countless hours in local communities and donated millions through our foundation and employee giving programs – all while earning accolades as a top company to work for. These accomplishments show we are on the right track to achieving our mission.
